OCD’s ‘99 Problems’ – First Verse:
If you’re having fear problems I feel bad for you Brent. You got 99 problems here’s my 2 cent
You got fear of harm to your closest friends
Ya think I’m the foe but I must amend
See the fact is, I’m just watching out for them
Watching out for you, Keeping way from sin
Met you first when you were playing basketball
Broken ankles, collarbone, you had it em all
You were getting hurt so habitually
Had to grab your thoughts more ritually
If you did this, did that, I’d save you a break
If you didn’t, well, maybe you’d catch a break
And If you did, still maybe you’d catch a break
Your mind was racing so much until you pump the brake
Try to stop my antics and I’ll make it worse
Recovery on your mind but I come first
Thinking you’ll outsmart is a thought for the dumb
You got 99 problems but I ain’t one
Hit me…
99 problems but I ain’t one
If you’re havin’ fear problems I feel bad for your Brent
You got 99 problems that’s my 2 cent
Brent ‘99 Problems’ – Second Verse:
Year’s twenty 16 and I’m thinking recovery
You were telling me shit like “trust me, I’m motherly”
You was holding my hand helicopter and hovery
Wouldn’t let me do shit being so damn smothery
Escape your leash for a while or so
Go about an hour not thinking of you though
Go another hour before you’re knocking at the door
When I win… yo here you go
Who’s the boss, you’d always have to have it your way
But with recovery, you could go away
Who needs you here, huh… only you would say
To silence your voice would be my victory
When I can prove to be stronger than even you would say
No longer stuffing my mind with silly commentary
You pullin my triggers like a verbal gun
I got 99 problems and hushing you is one
Hit em…
99 Problems and hushing you is one
Having fear problem but I’m ownin um
I got 99 problems and hushing you is one
Hit em…
89 Problems as you clear away
If you having scatter problems I feel bad you O
I got 59 more lets go
Brent ‘99 Problems’ – Third Verse:
Now once upon a time not too long ago
Woulda shared this verse, let you rap some more
Would let you spit your ridiculous flow
But your old lyrics gotta to go
New rules I’m feeling like I’m winning now
Your rules would have me swimming in my doubt
No rules I’m feeling like I got clout
As for you, well… get out
I don’t welcome you here, If all you produce is fear
Whispering in my ear, from near
I’d rather see you from far, instead of your jabber jaw
All in all, this next move’s clear
Imma take the throne and Imma hold the crown
We can get the win if you can hold it down
You hit the bottom as we reach the top
But this nonsense has got to stop
Imma take my time took my lumps from you
Succeed in my mind and Imma see it through
My thoughts in my head ain’t got nothing to do…
With you
You can ride the wave or you can just wave
My mental game is stronger chasing you away
As my light shines and your lights dims
I got 99 problems and you’re none of em
Hit it
99 problems and you’re none of em
If you having clinging issues I feel bad for you O
But I got things to do, yo let’s go
Music Is Therapy:
Music is Therapy. At one point, my OCD tried to steal my joy of music, making it a huge trigger. My love for it is therapeutic and proving to be a great ally. So yeah… I don’t wanna hear it OCD – Whateva man!
Oh… and this rap battle is inspired by Jay-Z’s masterpiece ‘99 Problems’. Catch the lyrics here.

Its such as you read my mind! You seem to understand a lot about this, such as you wrote
the e-book in it or something. I believe that you simply can do
with some p.c. to drive the message home a little bit, however
other than that, this is wonderful blog. A great read.
I will definitely be back.
